Com-Test

Ein Programm zum Senden und Empfangen von Bytes auf seriellen Schnittstellen eines PCs mit Windows-Betriebssystem (ab Version 2000). Wie auch diese Beschreibung ist Com-Test komplett in deutscher Sprache. Eine Dokumentation existiert nicht, das Programm ist selbsterklärend. Tool-Tips erläutern die meisten Steuerelemente der Programmoberfläche.

Zur Verwendung der Software muss das .NET-Framework 1.1 installiert sein (erhältlich von der Microsoft-Webseite).

PP Viewer (Win)

A viewer for PP20 (PowerPacker 2.0) encrypted files. Such files are known from the Amiga platform and are not readable under Windows without special tools like PP Viewer. The .NET Framework 2.0 is required to run the program.

Sine Table Generator

This small application creates sine tables often used to speed up sine calculations. You can specify the starting angle, ending angle and the stepping angle (resolution of the sine table). The sine table itself will be output to the application's window and can then be copied into your source code files. Currently, the application outputs Visual Basic code, only. Two functions (SinTbl() and CosTbl()) are appended to the output to provide easy access to the sine table. Please note, that these two functions do not support other values for the starting and ending angle than the default ones (0°;360°).

This application requires the .NET Framework 2.0 from Microsoft.

Guido

Guido shows a graphical representation of the used space on a disk. It is a port of the BeOS version of Guido. With Guido you can easily identify large files or folders on hard disks, flash drives and CDs or DVDs.
Guido requires Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 installed. You can obtain it from the Microsoft web site.

Program Watcher

Überwacht Programme und startet diese neu, sobald sie beendet wurden. Programme können per Drag'n'Drop hinzugefügt werden. Eine Dokumentation ist ebenfalls enthalten (deutsch und englisch).
Program Watcher ist besonders gut geeignet für beispielsweise:

• Virenscanner
• Firewalls
• E-Mail-Programme
• Hilfsprogramme für Notebooks (z. B. Sondertastenabfrage)
• und viele andere Automatisierungsaufgaben...

Program Launcher

A Windows 2000/XP service which launches applications and batch scripts at startup. Includes priority setting and two different ways of starting the programs/scripts. Supports multiple languages (english and german by now).

Listed at freeware-base and:

NetSend

Transmits Windows Messages over the network. You can save IP addresses or host names and assign names (eg. workstation user name).

SetDefaultPrinter

SetDefaultPrinter sets the default printer to be used by other applications via command line options and/or by selecting out of a list (see screenshot).

LockWorkstation

This adds a Quick Launch button to your Taskbar. If you press it your computer will be locked immediately and you need to type your username and password to get access to your account again. Requires at least Windows NT 4.0.

LogOff

Logs off a user very quickly. It can even log off SYSTEM and shut down the computer, if you specify "--shutdown" at the command line. It's a 32-bit-windowless-application. Try LogOff in conjunction with Program Launcher ;-)
